1. Overview

"Etsy Tag Auditor" ("the extension") audits the tags on your own Etsy shop's listings — empty tag slots, over-length tags, and wasted near-duplicate tags — entirely within your browser. We do not operate any server that your shop data passes through; the extension talks directly to Etsy's own API, and (only for the optional Pro AI feature) directly to the AI provider you choose.

2. Data sent externally

The extension makes outbound requests for exactly these purposes:

Reading your own shop's listings (Etsy API): after you sign in via Etsy's official OAuth 2.0 flow and grant read-only access, the extension calls Etsy's Open API v3 (openapi.etsy.com, api.etsy.com) to read your own shop's listing titles and tags. The extension never writes to Etsy on your behalf and never accesses any other seller's data.
Pro license validation (Polar): if you purchase the Pro upgrade, the license key you enter plus fixed organization/benefit IDs built into the extension are sent to Polar (api.polar.sh) to verify validity. No shop data, listing titles, or tags are ever sent to Polar.
Optional AI title & tag suggestions (Pro feature, bring your own key): if you turn this on and enter your own Anthropic or OpenAI API key, the extension sends the selected listing's title, tags, and the audit results for that listing directly to the provider you chose (api.anthropic.com or api.openai.com) to generate suggestions. Your API key and this data go straight from your browser to that provider — never through any server we operate. This feature is off unless you configure it yourself.

No other outbound requests are made. We use no analytics, ads, or trackers, and we do not sell or transfer your data to any third party beyond what's described above.

3. Data stored in your browser

The extension stores your Etsy OAuth session, Pro license status, your AI provider settings (if configured), and a cache of your shop's listing data, only in your browser via the standard Chrome extension storage API (chrome.storage.local). This data is removed when you uninstall the extension, and is never accessible to us or any other third party.

4. Payments

Pro purchases are processed on a checkout page hosted by Polar Software, Inc., our Merchant of Record. We never see your card details — Polar handles payment processing directly. See Polar's privacy policy.

上記以外の外部通信は行わず、アクセス解析・広告・トラッキングも使用していません。保存データ（OAuthセッション・ライセンス状態・AI設定・ショップデータのキャッシュ）は chrome.storage.localによりブラウザ内にのみ保持され、拡張機能のアンインストールで削除されます。

お支払いはPolar Software, Inc.（Merchant of Record）のチェックアウトページで処理され、カード情報は当方には渡りません。
